Bake Off

 Bake Off


Yesterday my sisters and I had a bake off. As you can tell by the title. A bake off is when you decide with your family what kind of baking you are going to bake. We decided for COOKIES!!


I made the elamite chocolate chip cookies. The chocolate chip cookies were super easy to make. It only took about 15 minutes to make the mixture and around 10 minutes to bake. Isn't that fast ? 


Amelia my sister made ginger crunch cookies. The ginger crunch took a little longer to make than Amelia thought. But at the end they were delicious cookies. Sadly she came last place. 


Olive my other sister made a delicious hokey pokey cookies. We can't forget she got that recipe out of my cookbook. They took about 30 minutes to make the mixture and around 20 minutes to bake. Don't you think that was a lot longer than mine to make?  


The 3rd place winner was the ginger crunch cookies. 1st place was the hokey pokey biscuits. And from this you can probably tell 2nd place was the elamite chocolate chip cookies. Who did you think would of came first second and third?


I hope you liked finding out about the bake off I did in lockdown. If you do a bake off with your family you should do a blog post about it.

    To Kyla-Rose your blog post is amazing,I think that your chocolate chip cookies sound great and so do the hokey pokey and ginger crunch. Who were the judges. A baking challenge is a great thing to do when you are stuck home bored.

    I like how you have stuck in a few questions for us to answer in your blog. Your blog post reminds me of my bake off. I like how you have grouped every different Idea with a paragraph. Did you think Olive should of won?

    You did a great job on the placings,By the sound of it you should have come first!!!
    I think next time you should all make up a recipe.That might make the competition more exciting,not that it already wasn't pretty exciting.I was super eager to find out who won.To bad Amelia lost,although there always has to be someone who comes 3rd place,But not if you tie.
